brooklynONE productions (bkONE) was looking forward to a productive 2020. Coming off a strong production of Godspell in 2018, and taking some time to reorganize for 2020. They were ready to kick things off. 2020, however had other plans.

Saugatuck Productions announces that Hunter Foster (2018 'Director of the Year' by Wall Street Journal) will be Director of its new, original musical - The Girl in the Red Dress. Foster will lead the creative team (Composers: Maia Sharp, Buddy Mondlock, Art Garfunkel; Playwright: Frederick Stroppel) as they conduct a two-week workshop at Redhouse Arts Center in Syracuse, NY. Foster was recently named Artistic Director at Redhouse. The workshop will run from July 15th through the 27th at Redhouse.

The Actors Studio Drama School  opened Week Four its seven-week series of exciting and challenging theater productions with the world premiere of Eddaby Kendra Mittermeyer and Morning Coffee by Frederick Stroppel. The season features the work of the graduating MFA Acting and Directing students who collaborate on professionally produced productions presented at the ASDS Repertory Theater in downtown Manhattan.
