Pasadena Playhouse has announced the lineup for its 2024/2025 season. The season includes Martin Crimp’s critically acclaimed new adaptation of Cyrano de Bergerac; a fresh new revival of Jerry Herman and Harvey Fierstein’s Tony Award® winner for Best Musical, La Cage aux Folles; a new production of Suzan-Lori Parks’ Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award®-winning classic, Topdog/Underdog; and a new play to be announced at a later date.

This ‘Ol House: Stories of a City Bear, Country Queen is a collection of stories and songs detailing Rider's journey of discovery from an awkward, out-of-place, gay boy in the country to an out, openly fabulous queen in the city. Tony Award winner Rachel Bay Jones will be reprising her role as Audrey McAllister in the upcoming Young Sheldon spin-off, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. Multiple reports indicate that both she and her co-star Will Sasso will return as the parents of Mandy, played by Emily Osment. Audrey McCallister is Mandy's intimidating mother who seems sweet but can become overbearing as she offers her opinions, especially when it comes to Mandy's life choices.
