WHBPAC to Kick Off 2013 Finest in World Cinema Series with RENOIR, 7/8 (6/15/2013) - The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center has announced the return of its 'Finest in World Cinema' Series! Thanks to a significant lead gift from supporters Rose and Don Ciampa, the WHBPAC was able to move forward with acquiring a top-of-the-line Digital Cinema Projector which secures the future of the Cinema Series by keeping the theatre up-to-date with the latest digital projection technology. As a token of gratitude, the Cinema Series will now be called the 'Rose & Don Ciampa Finest in World Cinema' Series and a new logo has been created.

North Shore Arts Angels Host Alumni Benefit VIKING MASQUERS 50th ANNIVERSARY GALA Tonight (6/15/2013) - The North Shore Arts Angels will welcome this evening, June 15th, scores of alumni from North Shore High School, reuniting to dust off their vocal chords for the 'Viking Masquers 50th Anniversary Gala,' a one night only fundraising event celebrating 50 years of musical theater on the North Shore stage.

Phil Vassar Added to WHBPAC Country Lineup, 10/6 (6/11/2013) - The newly refurbished, not-for-profit Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center announced that country music hitmaker, Phil Vassar will perform on Sunday, October 6 at 8pm. Tickets are $55 - $75. With irresistible hooks and equally good looks, his piano-based brand of country music is infused with a feel-good, R&B groove.

Bay Street Theatre Names Diana Aceti as New Director of Development (6/11/2013) - The Bay Street Theatre, a not-for-profit professional regional theatre situated on Long Wharf, in Sag Harbor, NY, is pleased to announce the appointment of Diana Aceti as its new Director of Development. A resident of Sag Harbor, Aceti brings over twenty years of fundraising, marketing, strategic planning and communications experience to Bay Street Theatre. She has spent the last year as Director of External Relations and Advancement at The Watermill Center, and the previous seven years as Director of Development & Major Gifts at East Hampton's Ross School.

BWW Reviews: CM PAC Goes INTO THE WOODS (6/5/2013) - Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Tony award winning musical Into The Woods has long been done since it premiered on Broadway in 1987. It certainly puts a lot of pressure on the cast to breathe new life into the theatre staple. Now playing at Creative Ministries Performing Arts Center (CM PAC), directed by Tim Pappalardo, the cast was up for the challenge and wonderfully delivered.

Photo Flash: WHBPAC Volunteers Honored at Beach Party Luncheon (6/5/2013) - Over sixty of the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center's dedicated volunteers gathered at the Quogue Village Beach Club for a special 15th Anniversary Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon hosted by the WHBPAC's Advisory Council on Tuesday, June 4. The event was organized to honor and celebrate the work and support provided to the theatre by a legion of community volunteers. To salute their efforts, the Volunteer Council was treated to a beach party luncheon at the Quogue Village Beach Club that included a barbeque catered by The Quogue Country Market.
