The John W. Engeman Theater presents four time Tony Award Winning Musical, 42nd STREET, beginning with previews on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 8:00 p.m., an official opening on Saturday, April 14 at 8:00 p.m. and running through June 17, 2012.  Tickets are on sale for $60 and may be purchased by calling (631) 261-2900, by visiting www.engemantheater.com, or at the Engeman Theater Box Office at 250 Main Street, Northport.

With book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble, with lyrics by Al Dubin and music by Harry Warren and based on the novel by Bradford Ropes, 42nd Street, is a tale about a small town chorus girl, Peggy Sawyer, who gets her chance to become an overnight star.  Songs featured include We're in the Money, Lullaby of Broadway, Shuffle Off to Buffalo and 42nd Street.

42nd Street is produced by RICHARD T. DOLCE, the theater's Producing Artistic Director.

The Cast of 42nd STREET features:

Christianne Tisdale (DOROTHY BROCK) her Broadway and West End credits include Beauty and the Beast, Triumph of Love, On a Clear Day, and One Touch of Venus. Her Off-Broadway credits include MTC, 2nd Stage, The York, and Playwrights Horizons.

Patrick Ryan Sullivan (JULIAN MARSH) played Julian on Broadway and on the National Tour of 42nd Street. Some of his other Broadway credits include Gaston in Beauty and the Beast and various roles in Titanic.

DARIEN CRAGO (PEGGY SAWYER) recently performed with Parallel Exit in their new musical dance comedy, I Love Bob. Some of her regional work includes Sweet Charity (Helene), Spelling Bee (Logainne), and Nunsense (Sr. Mary Leo).

ELISE KINNON (ANYTIME ANNIE) most recently was in 42nd Street at the Goodspeed Opera House also playing Anytime Annie as well as the Asian tour in 2007. Some other recent credits inclue White Christmas (TUTS-Rita), Crazy For You (Maltz -Patsy), Show Boat, Half A Sixpence and Happy Days (Goodspeed).

TIM FALTER (BILLY LAWLER) was in the National Tour of Some Like it Hot starring Tony Curtis. Some other credits include Singin' in the Rain (Don Lockwood) and 42nd Street (Andy Lee) at Goodspeed, Irving Berlin's White Christmas (Phil Davis) at Pioneer Theatre Co., Crazy For You (Bobby Child) and State Fair starring John Davidson (Pat Gilbert) at the Surflight Theatre.

Marci Reid (MAGGIE JONES) Kiss Me, Kate; Me & My Girl and Call Me Madam at the Goodspeed Opera House, Drowsy Chaperone in The Drowsy Chaperone at the Surflight Theatre, Penelope Pennywise in Urinetown at the Mason Street Warehouse and Dorothy Brock at the Surflight in 42nd Street.

KIRK BANGSTAD (Pat Denning) recent performances include Moses in Paul Dick's Moses, My Love, Tommy/Manny in Lee Hoiby's This is the Rill Speaking with the Chelsea Opera, Tony/Tommassi in Piazza Navona and Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus with Opera Manhattan, and the Stage Manager in Ned Rorem's Our Town with the Raylynmor Opera Company in New Hampshire.

STEPHEN VALENTI (Abner Dillon) has been seen throughout the tri-state area in a number of roles including Tevye in Fiddler, Padre and Sancho in Man of La Mancha, Carnes in Oklahoma and Max in The Sound of Music. He played Lazar Wolf in the Ogunquit Playhouse production of Fiddler on the Roof with Eddie Mekka and Sally Struthers.

EVAN TEICH (BERT BARRY) was last seen as Eddie in The Sunshine Boys at the John W. Engeman Theater. His Off-Broadway credits include Red Masquerade (Staged Reading), A Wonderful Life (Bert), Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Sneezy), Assassins (John Wilkes Booth) and the Long Island Premier of Jewtopia (Chris).

Drew Humphrey (ANDY LEE) Broadway credits include White Christmas (Cast Recording); New York/Tours: Of Thee I Sing (Encores!), 42nd Street (1st National). Drew also had the honor to perform at the Kennedy Center for Ted Kennedy and President Obama.

ASHLEY PEACOCK (PHYLLIS DALE) recent credits include White Christmas National Tour, Joseph...Dreamcoat at Theatre of the Stars (the soprano), 4 productions of 42nd street (Westchester Broadway Theatre, Goodspeed Opera House, Nat'l and Asia Tour), Irving Berlin's I Love a Piano Nat'l tour(Eileen).

Nikki Della Penta (LORRAINE) was in the Broadway shows Spamalot, 42nd Street (Phyllis u/s) and A Christmas Carol. She was also a Radio City Rockette with appearances on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The Cast also includes: Laurie Difilippo; AISLING HALPIN; MEGAN KELLEY; Nick Lorenzini; Kelly Marteney; Adam Mosebach; JAKE PRIMMERMAN; Audra Rizzo; ROBBIE SMITH; AMY VAN NORSTRAND; TODD WALKER.

Mark Adam Rampmeyer, the Director, is also the Associate Artistic Director at the John W. Engeman Theater. His association with 42nd Street began in 2000 when he was the Production Hair and Make-Up Supervisor for the Broadway revival. Since then he has been fortunate enough to be involved with many productions including the Apollo Theatre in Stuttgart, Germany, the First National Tour, and most recently Goodspeed Opera House in 2009. As a stylist his work has been seen on Broadway in Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, and All Shook Up to name a few. His design work was seen in Lysistrata Jones, West Side Story and The Farnsworth Invention. Mark was the recipient of a Drama Desk award for his contributions to the design team for Horton Foote's Orphans' Home Cycle at Signature Theater. He has directed several of the John W. Engeman Youth Theater Series Productions including Pinkalicious, Rapunzel, Alice in Wonderland and the seasonal favorite Frosty. Mark has spent 35 years working in the professional theatrical community and has had the great pleasure to work with such amazing talents as Olympia Dukakis, Lynn Redgrave, Jean Stapleton, and Hank Azaria.

Melissa Giattino (Choreographer) whose Broadway credits include the revival of 42nd Street. In London: Show Boat, Los Angeles: White Christmas. Some choreography credits include: White Christmas at Cabrillo Music Theatre in Thousand Oaks, CA, the West Coast premier of Backwards In High Heels at International City Theatre (Choreographer of the year from Stage Scene LA). Her film credits include Dance supervisor for the movie "Made For Each Other" starring Matthew Perry and Mary Steenburgen. Melissa can be seen performing all over the world with her tap show: Two on Tap.

Mike Pettry (Music Director) is a Jonathan Larson Award winning composer/lyricist. This will be his fifth show at the John W. Engeman Theater; previous shows here include The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the Roof and RENT. Broadway credits include the current revival Godspell. He was the Assistant Music Director for the National Tour of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Musicals he has written include The Time Travelers Convention, Hardcore West Virginia, Long Distance, World of Heroes, The Wonderful World of Zidney (featured highlight, Kennedy Center's Page to Stage Festival).

SONOKA FUKUMA GOZELSKI, Scenic Design, credits include Miracle on 34th Street, Over The River And Through The Woods and Always...Patsy Cline at the John W. Engeman Theater. She has been serving as resident charge scenic artist and set designer for the Youth Theater series at the Engeman Theater since its opening. Some other credits include Sweet Smell Of Success (NYU), The Last Days Of Judas Iscariot, Betrayal (Rutgers). Numerous assistant credits include Flashdance (Upcoming on B'way), Jersey Boys (LaJolla - B'way - Tours), City of Angels (Goodspeed), Carmen (Sarasota Opera).

KEITH SCHNEIDER, Costume Design, credits include designs for 42nd Street that have been seen at theatres across the country from Reno to Atlantic City. As designer for West Virginia Public Theatre he has designed such shows as 42nd Street, Seussical, Will Rogers Follies, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Chicago, Oliver, My Fair Lady, Little Shop, Annie, Sound of Music, Sweet Charity, Funny Girl, Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan and The Producers. This season he will also be directing their production of Anything Goes.

Justin A. Partier, Lighting Design, returns to the John W. Engeman Theater where he designed Smokey Joes Café, A Wonderful Life, Always...Patsy Cline, Over the River and Through the Woods and Oliver! He was the resident designer at West Virginia Public Theater 2009 & 2010. Recent designs: Spring Awakening (Nassau Community College), Aftermath (Meryln Theater Melbourne, Australia), A Midsummer Nights Dream (Schloss Werdenberg - Buchs SG, Switzerland). His design work has been seen in a variety of venues in and out of New York over the last decade.

CRAIG KAUFMAN, Sound Design, returns to the Engeman for his eighth production. His credits include Fiddler on the Roof, Run for Your Wife, Cabaret, Hairspray, Camelot, A Wonderful Life and The Sunshine Boys. His off-Broadway credits include Things To Ruin, Rewrite: The Musical and The Black Suits. Other recent credits include Sunday in the Park with George at Porchlight Theatre in Chicago; Bye Bye Birdie for the American Musical Theatre Project; Perez Hilton the Musical at The New York City Fringe Festival and The Encore Series; My Pal George, Mornings at Seven and Two Headed at the Berkshire Theatre Festival.

BRANDYALYN FULTON, Hair and Wig Design, credits include the Wig & Makeup Supervisor for My Fair Lady, Sound of Music, Guys & Dolls and Hairspray at the John W. Engeman Theater. Currently Brandalyn is a makeup swing for the Broadway productions of The Lion King and Mary Poppins. She has assisted Wig Designer, Mark Adam Rampmeyer on several projects as the Assistant Designer for White Christmas (Papermill Playhouse), Camelot, A Wonderful Life, and Makeup Consultant for Lysistrata Jones on Broadway.

The Casting Director is STEPHEN DeANGLIS who has been a member of the John W. Engeman Theater since its inception and has cast all of the main stage productions as well as the ongoing Broadway Concert Series. Stephen is on staff at Grey NYC having cast over 3000 network television and radio commercials.
