The Picture Show at Bay Street Theatre Announces Winter/Spring 2013 Lineup

The Picture Show at Bay Street Theatre has announced announce that Peconic Landing is sponsoring its long-running, classic Picture Show Series for the 2013 Season.

"Peconic Landing is thrilled to be working again with Bay Street Theatre," says Laurelle Cassone, Sales Manager - Peconic Landing, "our partnership allows us to further our goal of bringing exceptional cultural opportunities to the residents of the East End."

The Picture Show has been an eight-year staple of Bay Street's winter programming, with low-cost classic films from the 30's, 40's & 50's. Producer Gary Hygom created the line-up and notes perennial favorites. "This series is a great asset to the community because it provides low-cost entertainment all winter long," says Tracy Mitchell, Bay Street's Executive Director. "And we couldn't be more thrilled to have Peconic Landing on board in support of this mission."

The 2013 winter/spring lineup begins with Elvis Weekend on January 11 and 12. All films start at 8 pm. Tickets are $7 at the door and include a small box of popcorn. For the $28 prix-fixe "Dinner and a Movie" package, call Page at 63 Main (631-725-1810), IL Capuccino (631-725-2747) or Sen (631-725-1774). Beginning February 15, the dinner package will be available at Dockside (631-725-7100). Cost does not include sales tax, beverage or gratuities.

Willy is a likable man but gambles too much and may have been a witness to a mobster's conversation that would best be forgotten. As Walter gains more success, and falls in love with Willy's sister Rose, Willy Grogan finds himself coming under pressure from mobsters to make Walter takes a dive at his next big fight.
